Itinerary:

DAY 01: VAN DON AIRPORT – CUA ONG TEMPLE – CAI BAU PAGODA – SONASEA VAN DON    (Lunch, dinner)

In the morning: The car and tour guide will pick up guests at Van Don Airport and depart for Cua Ong Temple. At Cua Ong Temple, you will offer incense to pray for Prosperity, Fortune, and Luck at Mau Temple, Trung Temple, Thuong Temple, Tomb of Duc Ong De Tam Cua Suot, and Cap Tien Temple.

11:00: You will continue your journey to Cai Bau Pagoda. You will offer incense at the main hall, visit the bell tower, and drum tower. Enjoy the panoramic view of Bai Tu Long Bay from above.

12:15: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

14:00: Check in at the hotel and have free time to relax.

In the afternoon: You are free to relax and explore the Sonasea Van Don Harbour City, take photos, and swim at the beach.

Dinner will be served at the restaurant. Guests are free to relax and experience the services at Van Don Harbour City.

DAY 02: VAN DON – MONG CAI – DONG HUNG                               (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Have breakfast at the hotel.

07:30: Guests are picked up by car to Mong Cai.

08:00: Guests arrive at Mong Cai border gate. Guests submit their original ID cards, while the tour guide proceeds to collect the passbooks and returns to the guests to begin the journey of exploring Dong Hung. Once the procedures are completed,  guests can take photos at:

  • The Bac Luan Friendship Bridge is a bridge connecting the border between Vietnam and China, spanning across the Kalong River.
  • The border milestone 1369 marks the boundary on the mainland of Vietnam. It is 2.2 meters tall, 50 centimeters wide, and made of granite, with the national flags of Vietnam and China affixed on it.
  • Visiting Uncle Ho Memorial House at the Mong Cai International Border Gate.

After crossing the border at Đong Hung, the tour guide will take you to visit:

  • Vietnam-China Friendship Park: Located on the right-hand side of the Chinese border gate, here you will explore the greenery, the revolutionary martyrs’ memorial, and the largest Van Xuong Tower at the China-Vietnam border, standing at 40 meters tall with 7 floors, adorned with beautiful Chinese motifs.
  • Then, the car will take you on a tour around the city of Dong Hung, including a visit to the City Hall Square of Dong Hung.
  • You will visit and learn about Tam Bao Store – the Treasure Warehouse of Dong Hung.
  • Next, you will have free time for shopping at the luxury goods street and enjoy grilled milk tea, snacks, etc.

11:30 Guests arrive at the restaurant for lunch. Here, you will enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine at the Dong Hung Center Restaurant.

13:00 – 14:00: Guests will complete the exit procedures for China and enter Vietnam again at Mong Cai. The car will then pick up guests and return to Van Don. Guests will have free time for relaxation.

18:00: Have dinner at a restaurant and then have free time for relaxation.

DAY 03: BAI TU LONG BAY – HANOI – LAO CAI         (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Have breakfast at the hotel.

08:00: Check out of the hotel. You will head to Sonasea Port and explore Bai Tu Long Bay by boat. Enjoy the fascinating beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay with stunning islands such as Phat Co Island, Sea Lion Islet, and Tay Hoi Island. You will also visit Sen Village, experience a seafood farming model, and explore the magnificent caves.

Upon returning to the mainland, lunch will be provided.

13:30: The car will pick up guests to depart for Hanoi.

18:30: The car will take guests to Hanoi Railway Station. Guests will complete the procedures to board the train to Lao Cai. (Overnight on the train).

 

DAY 04: LAO CAI – SAPA                     (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Upon arrival at Lao Cai station, the car will pick up guests for breakfast.

07h30: The car will take guests to Sapa.

09:00: Upon arrival in Sapa, guests will drop off their luggage at the hotel. The tour guide will then accompany guests to visit Cat Cat village to learn about the daily life of the H’mong ethnic people, visit Tien Sa Waterfall, and the old hydroelectric power plant.

Guests will have lunch at a local restaurant.

13:00: The car will take you to the Fansipan cable car station to embark on your journey to conquer Fansipan via the world’s most modern 3-rope cable car system, with cabins capable of accommodating up to 30 passengers. From the station, passing through the ethereal Thanh Van Dac Lo Gateway, you’ll reach the realm of clouds. Bich Van Zen Monastery awaits travelers at an altitude exceeding 2,000 meters, welcoming visitors and Buddhist devotees with its pure Vietnamese architectural style amidst the drifting mist. As you tread amidst the echoing bells amidst the mountain breeze and clouds, reaching an altitude of 3,000 meters, you’ll catch sight of the 21.5-meter-tall bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha, solemnly standing amidst the surreal clouds, casting a compassionate gaze upon the earthly realm. In that serene and sacred moment, amidst the burgeoning spring with sprouting buds of azaleas, peach blossoms, and apricot flowers, you’ll find within your heart the blossoming flowers of love and hope. From the Amitabha Buddha statue, the path of Arhats, where 18 bronze Arhat statues, each 2.5 meters tall, in a state of deep meditation amidst the drifting clouds, will lead you to the Kim Son Bao Thang Monastery complex. Here, the ancient wooden Vietnamese pagodas from the 15th-16th centuries, along with statues of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and Mountain God Shrine, exude an aura of venerable beauty. Amidst this enchanting panorama are the centuries-old rhododendron trees, braving the cold, waiting to burst into full bloom in March and April with their white, yellow, red, pink, and purple hues. Finally, after conquering 600 green stone steps, you’ll ascend to the summit of Fansipan at 3,143 meters, the roof of Indochina. From here, casting your gaze in all four directions, each person will harbor unique emotions and desires, wishing to keep them close to their heart.

17h00: Return to Sapa, you will check into your hotel.

18h30: Have dinner in a restaurant.

In the evening: Free time to relax. Take photos with Sapa Stone Church, explore the Saturday night love market in Sapa, or simply indulge in local grilled specialties and famous San Lung wine to warm up in the cold weather of Sapa. Spend the night in Sapa.

DAY 5: SAPA – MOANA – HÀ NỘI                                          (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

07:00: Have breakfast at the hotel and then relax. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning at the restaurant.

08:00: The tour guide will pick you up and accompany you to the Moana scenic spot, where there are artificial structures harmoniously integrated with nature, creating a unique, beautiful landscape. The check-in area is located 500 meters from the Stone Church, covering an area of over 10,000 square meters, offering panoramic views of the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range and Fansipan peak. This place consists of seven sections, appealing to young people with various unique scenes. These include the Bali sky gate, the Moana girl statue, infinity pool, golden hand table, death swing, lonely tree, and a coffee area.

11:30: Back to Sapa to check out and have lunch & relax.

13:15: The tour guide will lead you to the car to proceed with the check-in for the trip to Hanoi.

20:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Check in at the hotel. Have dinner and free time to relax.

DAY 06: HANOI – NOI BAI AIRPORT   (Breakfast, lunch)

Have breakfast at the hotel.

08:00: Guests will check out of the hotel. The car will then take them to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Guests will pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh and explore the Presidential Palace area.

Continuing the journey, guests will visit Quan Thanh Temple – the temple dedicated to Saint Tran Vu (one of the Four Immortals). Then, they will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, enjoy the scenery of West Lake and Truc Bach Lake.

12:00: Guests will have lunch and savor the specialty dish “Banh Tom Ho Tay” (Shrimp Cake of West Lake).

13:30: Guests will visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam), the first university in Vietnam.

15:00: The car will take you to Noi Bai International Airport, where you will go through the procedures to board your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City/Can Tho. Tour ends.
